John 4:47-49

International Standard Version

⁴⁷ When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him repeatedly to come down and heal his son, because he was about to die.

⁴⁸ Jesus told him, “Unless you people^[a] see signs and wonders, you will never believe.”

⁴⁹ The official told him, “Sir,^[b] please come down before my little boy dies.”
